"Heavy Metal" type music is quite hard to do with a tracker but the author did a decent job here. The chord progression is well done and the overall theme, bridge and chorus are well thought out. The annoying loop sample that starts the song probably could have been changed to something a bit less hard on the ears. Panning throughout the probably could have been a bit more well developed (it's hardly used at all!). The vocal samples impressed me. The timing and their use in the song was done very well, however, the volume level for them varied enough so that the voice seemed to fade in and out of the music to extremes. I could hear it sometimes but not all as it was probably intended to be. None of the guitar samples had nna's. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however a steep Note Fade or a simple Note Off might have enhanced the guitar so that it wasn't so choppy sounding at points. Order 29, sample 25 - this could have probably been panned back and forth to give it a fuller feel (but not too much to be overly cheesy:). Overall a decent song that needed a few improvements here and there.

Interesting little metal tune. The distortion in the voice samples makes them sound a bit too muffled. The transition around order 27 is abrupt and disrupts the flow. This break-down in orders 27-34 is kind of lack-luster and simply leads into an exact repetition of the vocal phrases. Also, there had to have been something better to do with the conclusion of this song than the tempo slow-down. It doesn't sound right. Even just finishing it off with a climactic power chord would have been fine.

This piece is good, and I hope someone else will judge it too because I don't know how to enjoy this style as much as others might. The background guitars, bass, drums are cool, remind me of Playstation Underground CD background music. What is the language the guy is rapping in? Japanese? The rapping goes twice, sounds like the song repeated. The string parts are ominous and mysterious. End slows down, it ends weird but cool. Can't find any errors worth pointing out. Great tracking, skillful in the ways of effects, panning is great, etc. The samples are all in tune with each other (except voices, of course) and of good quality. I like the feedback effects of the voices (but I can't understand what he's saying). Overall: It is a good song. It is well tracked and sounds pretty cool. I wouldn't normally listen to this kind of music, so it doensn't thrill me, but it is still good.

Sounds OK. The Heavy guitars are good, watch out for the pitch! It sounds funny at "too" high pitches, but then again, you can't sample everything. The strings riff is OK, could've use a better "blend". Technique's OK, though not fantastic. It's a fair track.

When I am trying to find words to describe your sample set, the word "strange" springs into mind. Somehow, the samples just don't fit. And they don't work too well in the mix either. The rock guitars and drums work nicely, giving this song some kick, but the vocals should have some attitude. They sound like you are trying to sound 'bad' and not wake mum and dad sleeping in the next room, in other words, not too convincing. I have hardly ever heard a lead guitar sample worse than you use. There is not very much this kind of music in the scene (altough a plenty IRL), so your originality score raises your overrall a bit. Better tracking would give this one more life, though.
