Above average but not extremely catchy. First impressions were that it was a jumble of someone's synth, but after a few times through it kinda grows on you. It definitely has a driving, speedy beat with sharp synth samples like a block of honed knives. The phased percussion was a nice touch as were the electric guitars somewhere near the midpoint of the song. This song doesn't have much of a melody at all, but that's suitable for this genre. I looked for some warped-out funky-as-hell acidic-tweaked samples but only found the out-of-box kind you'd sample from RB-338. I guess that is appropriate for the title of the song, but that leaves the song only relying on variation of samples to create interest. The panning was good, harmony was somewhat present in the latter 2/3-rds, and volumes were decently balanced. So, good job, but maybe a little more variety next time?

Starting out it's pretty dischordant, but once it gets past the intro, it gets into a decent "oldskool module"-type sound. I like the sequence starting at order 20, and there were a couple of other decent parts, but overall, a pretty average song.

*File Specs* [Additional vote] ... [Filename]m6i-ginz.it [Title]Ginzu [General comment]HEy, the rythmical parts of this song are quite intresting but why did you specificly had to use a drum-sequence, you show me that you are quite capable of mastering percussional elements of music (though it be a bit tempting towards commercial direction but...), The songconcept is freak-level but i guess you have to develope that part a bit more to make that style really yours, most samples are neat i bet some of them included some home brewn of your own stuphz in it too. There is a lot of variation to find within this song, it is one of the less songs i not really know how to judge on musical basics, they seem to be quite good in my opinion, some of the instrumental arrangements could have been done better, especially the sample-quality in the percussion-set and the arrangements of the base-line environment.

The pitch-bend in the first sample made it sound noisy and discordant, even irritating, the way you used it. The hihat samples (11/12) are used at too low a frequency; setting them an octave higher would have been more suitable. Decent use of panning. The ending was good.

The beginning of the song seems hollow to me. It needs a clean low-end sample in there to clean up some of the empty space. Nice use of instrument 25, khudos on the note fade-to's. Watch sample volumes (sample 27 is WAY too loud). Song lacks a whole lot of substance up until order 20, where the strings fix that little problem. Percussion isn't as clean as it could be, but otherwise fine. Samples are well matched, but as I said, sample volumes need to be watched.
