The extended sample at the start gets old after a while. The song could do with more variation throughout, it suffers from so much repetition. The bass at the end is transposed up in steps, and then too high. Bad flaw.

First thing that strikes me about this tune is, that the distorted bassdrum is out of tune with the strings, and that doesn't sound good at all. Next thing is thet sinebass - it's not as much the tuning as it's the high pitched notes, it plays. The sinebass should IMO not have been there, as it sounds too 'clean' with the rest of the more or less distorted or in other way effected samples. Besides that it's a relaxed moody tune with a neat drum-section and not at all a bad atmosphere to it. It's a fairly original tune, but still I think it's not enough to make it stand out from the mediocre crowd. I actually tried fixing the tuning on the bassdrum and removed the sinebass. That made the tune worth a few more points.

I like the beginning very much - nice riff. And there's enough variation so that I'm not bored. It has also got a nice background with the strings and that "sine"wave (it looks like you've drawn it in FT :)) And instrument 5, the "Swwupp!", distant hard panned to one side helps create the atmosphere in this tune.

Lots of good ideas. But they were muddled by the fact that nearly all the samples were out of tune, some much more than others. If the instruments being out of tune wasn't enough, they were scratchy and low quality. This is the bane of many potentially good to great songs. Transition at 30-31 could use a lot of work there was simply no basis for something like that. The acid riff that was instrument #1 was more annoying than catchy and didn't do anything good for the song. The chord progressions seemed good but I had trouble hearing them. There were too many unprepared ideas going on at once so it sounded muddled rather than mixed. The first few patterns of the intro were really a turn off. The percussion sounded off and the riff was annoying even then. The percussion did improve though into the song. There were some wasted channels used for unneeded echos that muddled it even more. 1This song showed potential but needs more tweaking. Don't get discouraged you can always improve. Good luck on your next song!

This song has lasting appeal. It gets better the more I hear it. It's an odd kind of song, but odd in a refreshing sort of way. This song makes me think of cruising down the highway in the middle of nowhere at high speed with the top down on a sunny day. The chord changes were complex enough so that I got lost in them. It seemed like I never heard the same progression twice. The complex manipulation of the breakbeat in instruments 13-19 was very skillful. The composer used a great mix of soft and distorted sounds to add an attention-grabbing dichotomy to the sound of the piece. The ending was better than the avreage mc6 ending. Whereas most other songs just drop out all the instruments in some gigantic hit or something, this song had a nice cooldown of an ending. The distorted looped kickdrum (ins. 2) was panned uneasily to the right, and it drew attention away from the rest of the sounds. I would have expected it to be panned dead center. I also wanted to hear a few variations on instrument 1, perhaps to take the chord progression in some entirely different direction. As far as sample quality, my only real complaint is the horrible sounding hihats.
