What can i say, i love techno/trance. And i certainly like this track. The first thought that poped into my mind was, Demo music. Yes, this sort of fast paced bpm is great for eye-gripping demos! The song is well organized, structure is a must for trance. The vocal is mixed well. "Take a deep deep deep deep" is fitting for the transition following it. overall this is a good solid tune, but could have been elevated even more if some extra time was spent on adding spiffy effects. thing about trance is, there needs to be a LOT of panning, this piece had some panning but could have had a lot more to make it that much more enjoyable... samples swooshing left to right, right to left, reverberation, pan pan pan!! you get the idea. I also did not agree with the violin string (is that sample from FBY?) it simply was too loud, that or it just plain simply did not mix well with the rest of the piece. Other than that keep up the good work, Trance 4evah!!!

This song has a nice electronic synth tone with a great introduction however it lacks musically in parts. While some of the tone combinations do fit they would perhaps have benefited the song if used in other ways. In particular some of the tonal progressions are not quite complete or do not fit the rhythm naturally. The string sample makes a good change when it is first introduced but is a bit loud towards the end and is almost out of place in the context of the other instruments. Effective for the chosen style of music though.

*File Specs* [Additional vote] ... [Filename]m6i-gyro.it [Title]Gyroscopic Fiends [General comment]GoA(way) a bit around the default concept of goa, not too much sfx in it, standard "tatatatatatatata" chord tremolo-chop features used but no serious variation used in those tremolo adaptions. Beatlines used in the essensial way for this type of song, the depth was quite good but alas, a bit too much of surround tricks used here my friend, my surround set is become overcomplete and it was such very expensive gear to buy! The leads are mind-penetrating, the round arpegiation is locking that mind but the percussional asset is not really moving me that much. The samples are descent though not very special. It moved me fair enough to be stated as better than average.

A somewhat interesting song, but it has very boring drum tracks (bassdrum, hihat, bassdrum hihat... that's about it...) Panning could be more varied; there seems to be quite a lot of tracks using a center panning position. There isn't a lot of bass other than the bass drum. There were times where my ears definitely wanted more. I don't think I really like how things just cut out towards the end of the song... maybe a fast fade would have worked better (or maybe something else entirely). Overall it wasn't too bad of a tune; other than the drums, things were varied enough to keep interest throughout.

This one is interesting because it uses techno instruments but it's not really a dance groove (not repetitive enough). It uses phased synths but also has traditional string instrumentation. There are no snares (sample #19 doesn't seem to be used at all?) and only hand claps are used briefly. It would seem that the entire song is to showcase sample #4. As a soundtrack, this song might do well, but by itself it seems "hollow". There are segments where there's only the synth being portamento-ed with a few other instruments filling out the background. Not that that's entirely bad, but it just lacks the creativity that pushes a song from being "good" to being "great".

Some samples are way too tinny and noisy. The mix is powerful but too overwhelming. The beat doesn't fit somehow and the hihats can hardly be heard. Strings could sound much better. Gets repetitive and boring quite quickly. Some kind of rythmic bass sound could make the beat and the whole work better. Structure doesn't lead anywhere, there are changes but they seem to be pointless for the most part. Nice sound, but you need to mix better to make this kind of music enjoyable.
