Judge: Lesuisse ,Anthony The piano melody sounds bad. And don't seems to be in harmony with the chords. The ambients samples a re good. But some passages are really dischordant. |
Judge: Lamy ,William Awesome relaxing tune. The sound is interesting, original. The stereo effects are neat, the sound-effects (animals, voices, water) are very convincing. Your piano choruses need to be approached as sung melodies, using volume changes, more subtile rythms, for example. Very good work. |
Judge: Isaacson ,Michael While this song doesn't really make me think of an oasis, it is a light tune that is somewhat plesant to listen too. A few things I noticed was the transison for 5/6 at 20 was rather unclean and could use a littl touching up. Also, 5/9 proved very distracting and out of place throughout the entire song, most of all in pattern 13. Samples were all clear when pushed through both cheap PC speakers and in Pro-logic. While this isn't the most original song I've heard, it also is one that is commonplace, either. |
Judge: Svanholm ,Jakob this track starts out in a cool ambient way. nice rez effects. the piano sounds very "tracked" and could've been paid more attention. use more volume commands to make it less stiff and more alive. there's not much excitement in this tune, but i like the dark mellow feeling. not outstanding but overall decent. |
Judge: Telgarsky ,Matus M... it is pretty neat at the beginning except I have heard the piano-esque sample tooooo many times. and it doesn't really match with the other samples. it is too synthesized.. it needs to sound more natural if it is to blend with the other samples well. but besides that I don't have many complaints. |
