A standard set of samples used that are of fair to good quality. The constant channel hopping of individual melody chords near the start is rather disorganized, subtler panning would be more effective. Sine wave and strings work well harmonizing and complementing each other and there are some nice arpeggios in the background helping with the rhythm. Various background samples also add to the melody, but unfortunately most are drowned out by the poor volume settings of this track. Pattern 6, where the guitar starts, needs some build up to it, which was achieved effectively in patterns 24 - 26 by the combined use of sample 20 the hollow breath sound. 37 - 39 where the bass imitates the guitar works well, and shows thought. Pattern 41 tempo change and break transition was not done smoothly, but nevertheless works well especially with the beat slowly picking up the tempo again. However, this tempo should have increased and melded back into the original speed and style of the track instead of the disjointed transition that happened which lost any effect that was created. Pattern 46 an excellent bassline here, and heavy over orchestral works well. Although the beat varies marginally from theme to theme, it is all too similar to stand out enough, other than the loop in pattern 46 which is used effectively and gives a distinct feel to this set of break patterns. An ending to this song would have been a nice addition. All in all tracked with a fair amount of knowledge with quite a few good ideas injected, but the disjointed nature of the track gives the feeling of a medley of extracts. With tighter integration between themes and better overall production a good varied track could be achieved.

First impressions: It changes. Much. Some/most of the percussion instruments are noisy and a bit fuzzy, but it sounds as if that might be intentional. Sounds especially fuzzy with that fuzzy lead like in track 27. Reminds me of old nintendo games (Bionic Commando in particular). :) Love the slow breakdown around track 50. Ended a bit abruptly. After listening to it a few times: Still reminds me of that nintendo game. But oh well. Progresses nicely, changes adequately, doesn't bore me.

-well tracked + -to me its demo music, orders 40-53 remind me of 2nd reality - -not a unique sound, but enjoyable anyways + -repetative main melody (the acid sounds) -catchy percussion, I wish that it had increased in complexity or varied more farther into the piece -over all, low sample quality and a non-unique sampleset, however, good choices for this style of song -abrupt ending... -no emotional impact didn't reach out and grab me, nicely done but the overall appeal wasn't there for me

It's nice to hear a song with much 'sound' to it without seing it use a hundred channels. Nice break with the strings part in the middle, however, I think it sounds a bit thin at times - at about row 40-48 in block 43, 45, 47 and 49. I like the way you use the short bass sounds. And your drums are fine too - the 'fill-in's keeps them from getting boring. You have too wide panning. There is variation throughout the song without it sounding like a medley of different songs.

Very nice track, what there was of it. Your beat and drums were exceptional and there was a very good sense of musical tension- building from one climax to another. I loved the way you repeated themes in slightly different contexts. Panning was used fairly well, it looked from the dials as if there was an excess, but when you needed to hear it, the panning was definately there. Ditto w/ volume. These two added a lot to the atmosphere. One big weakness: you had one transition ( low 40s or thereabouts ) that just stopped. Compared with the rest, it was weak. Another thing, can't really grade you down for it, but I would've liked to hear more.

Now here we have a good, catchy beginning. Instantly got my attention. Excellent build-up of the string chords in the beginning. I like the use of doubling the channels on the percussion in the beginning to create the flange effect. I'm not sure if that's what you intended, but it certainly worked great. Pad chords after the beginning make me a little dizzy tho. Extreme left and right are a little too extreme. Bring them back towards the center just a little bit. I want to think that this isn't an extremely original song due to the drum loops, but I can't even say that because the chord structure is done very well. You're taking all my favorite pet peeves away from me. Sample quality is an extremely good mix of sample types (except for the purple motion lead, although it mostly fits), and use of the samples is very well done. Somewhat abrupt lead into the string interlude in the middle of the song at around 44/61. Nice slow groove after the interlude intro.
