A fairly nice piece of salsa-like music. I think there are way too few of these carneval-salsa-like tunes made, thus I think this one deserves a an extra point for it's originality. The structure of the tune is a bit messy I think, which might be because the composer wants to keep the tune filled with percussions and breaks and thus has problems keeping it all balanced. There are some problems with the tuning - especially the bass, which should've been tuned up quite a bit. The samples could've been much better. I can handle the amount of 8 bit samples, but the trumpet-samples, which btw. are from an old amiga module (afaik) should've been different. The trumpet-samples are too much different from the rest of the sample-set, as they are not half as 'clean' as the bass and piano-samples. This together with a bad volume-setting makes the trumpet-section blurish - disappearing too much into the background.

Very nice atmosphere in the whole song - it sounds like a party in a small village in Spain or something... The key change in block 40 is a bit late - I would have liked it earlier. But the song is not boring the first 40 blocks. There's lots of percussion - 12 out of 20 samples - and it is very well used. I like that it starts out with the same notes and chords as in block 5 several times and every time it moves somewhere new before returning. That's what makes this song so live-like. A pity it's only 3 minutes - I would have enjoyed an extra minute.

Original, well made. The lead melody isn't loud enough compared to the percussions (Note that it makes use of surround). The lead instrument, a sort of trumpet is not really good. The rythmics are really good. This one will stay in my playlist.

A very refreshing peice! Wonderfuly creative and made me want to get up and do the mombo. A few of the samples were a tad bit staticy, but blended with skill. The refrains were very nice, but heard just a shade to often. I felt that the key change was unneeded and was distracting. Also, the bass is too powerful and needs a little bit of refining. Other then that, this is good vetran quality material.

Lame. Sorry, but lame. Very repetitive, super-standard samples, no new elements, poor technique.
