Actually a quite cool-sounding trance track, but why on earth did the composer use looping bass and acid riff samples instead of tracking them? That would have been technically so easy. Also, I'm not a fan of looped drums, but the good thing in this song was that they were used only in some places. Otherwise the sample quality was quite good. Overall, This song was rather good as a trance tune, if the composer had just tracked those couple of samples...

I had some doubts of this tune because of the name, because in general the worst tracked tunes are trance. But you proved me wrong. I don't love the tune, but it doesn't come near hurting my ears. The beat is good and groovy and the chord and pad elements are really good. Maybe the beat could be a bit more in the front. Strings and choir work well together, as do most of the samples. Good use of resonance samples. Not much happening here, but it managed to keep me interested, mostly enjoying the sound. The part where the breakbeat and female vocals kick in is among the best, but the string sample is too loud there. Enjoyable track, but not very memorable. You could find employment out there in the dance scene.

When i first listened through all songs, this was one those that caught my attention. A solid throbbing bassmelody, with just the right amount of earcandy around it to keep my interest. The choirs fit in perfectly along with the accompanying keyboards. The progression is good and it has a catcy melody, that i actually remember even when i'm not listening to it. Now to part i'm having trouble with. The extended samples. Of course nobody cares if they're in a commercial song, but since this is a tracking contest, that has to lower the score. The tracker could have tracked the melody by himself,i've seen more complicated things made by trackers, without sampling it all. Too bad, since this song is very good. The volume levels, sample quality and tuning is allright and the overall mood makes me want to listen to it again.

Stays pretty much ambient the whole way through, not much diversity in this.. Strings are out of tune.. Sounds good though, just gets a little on the boring side.. you add some more dramtic transitions and changes in the main rythem.

A very groove-able track, but seemingly missing the customary heavy percussion and thick basslines. The song mainly centers around this evolving synth bass sequence which isn't complicated or groovy itself because all it does is phase in and out. The strings are what provided a sense of progress through the song, listening to them rise and fall over a 4-measure period. I would expect that for this kind of a song that you'd want to take the bassline and tweak it to jump from the bass to the melody, otherwise you're relying on the other instruments to pull the song along. So, in the way you've put things together, it feels just like one very long flow of sound without many distinct breaks or sequences. Sure, there are periods where instruments drop in/out, but it still comes down mostly to what the strings are doing. To better define segments, you can use things like "orchestra hits", voice-overs (which you actually did use), and bass sequence changes. The song opens strongly with some of these things, but doesn't seem to go anywhere after that---it's just more of the same.
