Play around more with Volume effects and Panning. Try to make a better sense of climax apparent; the song gets kinda boring.

What's the reason of existence of those 16 bits samples along with all of these 8 bits ? There are absolutely no difference between the two qualities as they are used to reproduce a hithat (#25), a bass (#34), and some kind of tambourin (#42). The other bad habbit of yours is that you don't close the unused channels. By closing them you will force yourself into optimizing your tracking space and use more effects. The song sounds pitiful until the keyboard takes the lead, order #8. I found uncreative of you to use a "weird" sound to cover up the bad transition in orders #13 and #14. Beside that, everything is fine.

Demo-style tune. Strong rhythm, interesting lead, good chords. I didn't like the drums sample too much, it was too distorted for my taste. A good sample could have made the tune actually fun to hear. The melody was quite good but nothing original. I wouldn't remember anything from the tune after listening. Hmm.. second thought - make it REALLY bad sampled drums. It does have good panning, though. A music I'll use for a diskmag...

ah finally a tune with some decent "go" in it. i like the drum and basslines, and the melody works fine. i really don't think that bubbly synth sample fits in there, 'cause it sounds pretty untuned. the ending comes pretty much as a surprise, but a plus is that intro before the tune kicks off. the main part sounds pretty much as some old amiga demo theme. i like it.

Good bass, good harmonies, catchy melody, good percussion, excellent volume balancing, good panning settings; this song probably should have competed in the veteran category. Of the criticsms that could be made: 1) the middle of the song employs using this weird "watery" synthesizer which seems out of place, and 2) the intro seems a bit long and out of pace for the rest of the song. Possible areas of improvement: 1) adding solos, 2) adding syncopation to the strings in the background, 3) adding more ambient sounds, 4) selecting a different title to fit the song, and 5) using more complex percussion (you still had about 350KB you could have used). Very good job!
