A quite boring tune I think. Don't like this one at all. It's original enough I guess - even though I think there are a bit too many of these moody half- distorted guitar-tunes around, so not a big score on the originality. The form of the tune is ok - I could need an extra break here and there and also a change in the melody and chords would've been nice. It's just too straight for my taste. About that noise in the background, which I think is supposed to be a wind+rain sample(?) - it completely ruins the beginning of the tune, making it sound like Impulse Tracker has switched my GUS with an old SoundBlaster card and started mixing at 8KHz. Next time please get a better sample, and you could also try to slide the sample up/down to get that wind-fx. Those resonnated bass-samples shouldn't IMO have been there either. They seem so out of place - I would've prefered that you used some more samples like that distorted one in sample #20. A good thing though is, that the tune is fairly clean of musical flawz :)

It's original to use the distorted sounds in that way in a somewhat slow piece, but I think that sample 20 takes over and is too loud making the piece noisy. But at least you got me reaching for my dictionary :) I think that it's boring - it doesn't really get anywhere.

The lead sounds good. I dislike sound on the 12 13 14 channels. But it is quite good.

I don't like the transition to swing beat... it sompletely changed the feel of the song, and not for the better. When you dropped it, the song just sounded, ummmm, blah. I can't think of a good word. It was more interesting with the swing beat, now that I listen to it again. But without the swing beat, I would have liked the song better. Go figure. Well, on the plus side, you had a really good choice of samples overall. They work really well together and I like the variety of them. Your ending is pretty good.

Well designed over all with a mystrious tone. The author shows good skill with using NNAs on their instruments and avoids overuse that is often easy to do. Not overly orginal. Also, while the samples were clear they were strongly overbalanced to the right.
