An interesting calypso/carribean style tune. And the name of the song is very apt. The samples are clear and well chosen. The marimba sound back melody is good, and the brassy first theme. The introduction of the thick bass is good, and the use of flute counter melodies. The fact that the further the tune goes the more things are happening in the tune is good, whislt still maintain the central theme. About the only down side is that is may be a little on the repeditive side, as it seems to center on just one main theme, and then does variation on the main theme. But still a good track.

A fairly nice caribbean style but it is let down by the farty horns! ;) Other than these horns a fair to good quality set of samples. A lack of solid flow and form makes the track start to wander and feel cluttered. but pattern 13 gives a welcome break. Quite a few good complementary sounds here with some good mimicry injected, but could do with greater theme variations. The beat needs to have far more of a salsa feel to it. There is potential here but it needs a clearer focus of ideas, tracking technique and production.

Interesting! If "Mario on the tropics" ever comes out, let them get a sniff of this song. It has a nice happy and playful feel, which is what reminds me of Mario. Obvisouly, it also has an island beat to it, with the Steel Drums. I don't belive I have heard anything quite like this from a tracked song. There is a definate and nice flow to the - the bridges are professional hell the whole song sounds nicely professional =) The horns get just a tad bit annoying in some places, but sound very nice (slightly synthesized) and natural. Not really much more I can say about this song, except that it sounds very nice and, again professional (most of the stuff I say is negative, so enjoy the small critique =). Excellent Song! Bravo!

This tune sets a mood, yeah, but is not very imaginative. Your technique could use some improving, especially yuour mixing. The sound is too big for this kind of music. Not enough variance (or then too much of it), altough there are different parts. It just keeps getting on my nerves.

Not many complaints, this song was excellent. Up until order 6, the trumpet was just the right volume. At order 6, it just seemed too quiet, and remained that way throughout the whole song. In pattern 25, the string volumes alternating between 30 and 05 was too abrupt. I tried replacing the 05 volumes with D07, and it sounded a bit better. Tweak that bit, and the trumpet volume, and you'll have yourself one heck of a great song! I liked how it started out, with a very lazy air to it, and then gradually growing to a huge festive piece. Good work!

Nice, light upbeat piece. The background texture is very good. It supports the melody and pushes the mood without beaing at all obtrusive. It also changes a few times, to give the song more than just one texture. IMO, this puts you head and shoulders above a lot of the tracks I've heard. Other things: nice transitions, drums. Your use of global volume was good. Don't see much of that around... Good group of samples, obviously fitted to the genre. No glaring flaws. A very solid track

Music perhaps for fungames. The melody is fun. Too sensless & boring for my taste.
