Excellent beginning. The sound effect actually works this time. Drum and bass groove is good going into the main section. The sine lead is definitely not your usual one, it works great, except there's not enough volume/sample offset on it, the waveform retrigs too often. Good melody and use of portamento. The piano mid-section is nice, and has a great flow to it. Overall, fairly well done if a bit generic.

Great thunderstorm! This is one of the better ones I've heard used in tracked musics. The overly repititious intro could have been shortened a bit. I was waiting for the lead-in and it didn't come when it seemed like it should have (there was even a drum fill). The lead sample for the first melodic section could have probably used a bit of offset leading, it got a little too repetitive and mechanical sounding after the first few patterns. The piano was great, good jazz lead, liked it a lot. The drums throughout were kind of unchanging, a little spiceup in there would have given it a better "jazz drummer" feel. All in all a pretty darn good jazz fusion-type piece.

This tune has got some good points but also quite a few bad ones. Starting with the good ones, the beginning is pretty good and sets a mood, although the thunder sounds are played a bit too loud. The tune then progesses in a rather monotonous way, with different leads entering the tune. The starting synth lead is not that greatly tracked in my opinion, and uses way too many channels. The jazzy piano jamming that follows however is much better, and to me, the part that I remember most from the tune. It well-tracked and and keeps you interested. The bad things about the song are mainly some technical problems and the lack of variation and originality. There are just so many songs like this in scene that a tune like this just donīt stick out. Also, you use way too many channels in this tun. Tracking exactly the same thing for both left and right channels are really a waste. Try splitting the chord up in different panning positions like you do in the beginning, or use a panning envelope, and put the drums and bass in the center instead. Overall, a quite average song with little originality and variation, but with pretty good sample quality, and the piano jamming shows potential.

Nice simple tune. How many times have I heard a falling rain + thunder intro? But that's okay, it's always tempting to use falling rain and thunder. Good samples. Song has a very nice groove and is constructed very simply with the phaser synth solo followed by the piano. Pretty nice use of both the phaser and especially the piano riffs, but again, there isn't much going on in this song.

Rainy Since Thursday had just one tragic flaw. I did like the ambient sounds, and the use of strings near the middle. It waas very relaxing, until it was interrupted by Sample #3. It just didn't belong in the song, which was otherwise nicely done. The piano, on the other hand, fit perfectly. It also had the best (and only) representation of a thunderstorm. The song even got louder, as if there was a storm overhead, then going off into the night. The samples were high-quality, and there wasn't much repitition. I like it.

*File Specs* [Additional vote] Hot bluezzz [Filename]m6i-rsth.xm [Title]Rainy Since Thursday [General comment]Oooh.. babe... a real deep peez'a soul digger...What a fine base-line, what a groovy rythm, what a bone-hitting lead.... I have to admit that i didn't expect that much when i heard the first few patterns where the chord-janging came in but as soon as the base-line start i started to melt... The chords are realy around you, the leads are going way back deep maybe the baseline could have been centered a bit more, the piano session was a bit artificial though the progression was nea'd. The samples are fine, it surprises me a bit there were less samples used than i expected, that's a very good point here.Keep on going, you're on the right way.

A well rounded song, pretty and iced with beautifull piano melodies. I can't say I've ever heard soft rock/jazz accomplished in a track like this before. Transitions are smooth and mood changes/modifications are well covered. Also, the song has a whole has great "depth" or "realism" if you will. There were only two things about the song I didn't totally like: the funny sample that makes up the first lead in the song, and the (already been done) fadeout ending. These don't, however, drag the song down at all. An alltogether enjoyable tune. Kudos to the author.
