Good song, indeed. Perhaps a little too repeative, though. The ending could have been better, but it was ok like that too. The guitar melodies were good, but the overuse of the same guitarmelodies annoyed me a bit. The song could have needed something else too, not just the same drumloop and the same melodies through the whole song. But anyway, overally a nice and good song, which could've been much better.

Wow, i recognize those guitar riffs, but i had no idea until i played them separately. Even though there were some minor glitches, that's some cool sample handling, guitar samples are one of the hardest in my experience... werd. Im beginning to wonder if it's my sound card's timer that may be a bit off, since i hear that minor glitch in the sample. The song has good progression, chords are solid, the beat is catchy. not bad at all. i recognice several of the samples but cool, you are the first that i know of that has used a choir sample and i liked. I always get turned off by it but not this time.

This song is quite enjoyable, but is unfortunately slightly let down by some technical weaknesses. It deserves a quite high mark for form - the chord progression, while simple, suits the song and the style of music well. This is in fact true for many aspects of the song. It has a good structure - never over-repeating, with the right frequency of changes to keep the listener's attention. The guitar melodies work well. The composer seems musically skilled. The key change up in the middle of the song worked particularly well. However, this good work is damaged somewhat by a few technical problems which are quite easily avoided. The guitar lead is echoed both too quicky and too loudly - rather than echoing the lead on the next row, delay it by two or four rows, and instead of echoing at 50% of the lead's volume, try echoing at 25% or less. The echo is meant to make the sound fuller, but it is important that it doesn't interfere with the lead itself. The listener should be concentrating on the lead itself rather than the echo tracks. The samples were the other main problem. Many of them were looped very poorly, and others were overamplified. The guitar leads seemed to be quite low quality samples, too. A little sample editing and processing would help this song a lot. Also remember that the size limit is 1mb - you had plenty of room for a few higher quality samples. Otherwise the set, consisting of what seemed to be a mixture of ripped and original samples, fitted the song well. Although not incredibly original, the song avoided sounding cliched. If a little more work is done improving the technical side of the tracking, this composer can go far.

The theme/idea(s) behind this song showed promise, and while technically it was tracked with skill, the composer seems to lack real production ability. The drum samples were nasty - the distorted kickdrum was particularly out of place. The abbreviated crash cymbal and snare could have been looped and used with a volume envelope to improve their decay and still keep the same sample sizes. The tonal samples were well selected for the style of the song. The ending reminded me of earlier Enigma stuff. Overall, the song just didn't really go anywhere.

Here's another extra vote. sorry if this comment sux. Nice use of drums. This song has a lot of neat stuff. If on some of the long monotone notes if you could put a volslide it'd be REALLY cool. ALso, try some panning work. overall has a real nice sound to it.
