The name says it all. This is definately a tribal tune! And the percussions are very well put together - the samples are good. There's even a catchy though at times strange wooden 'lead' that actually suits this piece quite well. The thing I find most attractive about this tune is that the percussions are tracked completely - no loops used here. Only downside to this tune is the weird shifts/breaks, that makes you think, that this perhaps is a bit too messy. Also the tune is a bit too monotone - the same melody keeps on going and going.

I like the start of this one - it builds up some expectation instead of starting right away. Then all the percussion sets in and it's cool enough, but it keeps on going and the 'lead' xylophone keeps playing the same melody - even the key change in block 26 doesn't help much and I'm almost screaming NO! when all the drums come back. I must say that I find it cool, but very repetitive. It's impressive that all samples are 16bit/44kHz. The tracking of the xylophone is good and the tune is very original - I think one of the first of it's style, but this can't give you much in round 1, sorry.

The title made me a little cautious of this tune. Well, I was glad it wasn't so generic. The swing tempo didn't work too well with the idea. Decent samples and panning. At times, it sounded like the artist was just playing around. I stopped listening at 4m00s but I grew tired of the tune by then anyway.

It's fun and exotic. The ambient string in the background is boring. It's not really a song, only percussions. When you listen to it cannot avoid to follow the the rythm with your foot, hands or head. :)

Good idea, but nothing interesting. The percussion was rather simple when you boiled it down. It sounded like the author made 1 pattern and cut and pasted it 40 times. Little effort was given. It really got annoying when it slowed down and made me laugh at loud at one point. The samples were okay but nothing remarkable. I saw some doubled channels, no good. Good luck on your next song!
