I think this song does an ok job form wise for the type of music it is. Unfortunately I rarely find songs like this that are able to maintain my interest. They are too similar throughout and have very simple melodies if they have them at all. In addition this particular song has many clicks/pops and hissy sections even with the sb16 MMX volume ramping IT driver.

First thing first, you could have turned the 16 bits samples into 8 bits without loosing one bit of quality. The size of the song suffers greatly from this. I can bear to have a four minutes song taking 720k of precious HD space, but no more than that. You've turned off the unused channels even when using Impulse Tracker. This is a good habit to keep as it shows the repect you have for the listener. And now, what about the song? Well, I have reason to believe that order #15 could be removed or replaced by a variation because otherwise you're pushing the envelope too much. I prefer song, like yours, which change moods thoughout the music (order #36 and up). Overall, you've tracked a real fine tune.

Hmmmmm, a bit too repetitive for me, unfortunatly. Tho I must say that's an interesting blend. The technique ain't too good tho, you need to vary a bit more.

The very-high-piano sample (16) is not tuned properly. You have trailing notes in places, which sounds messy. I have no idea what's going on with the name - this song reminds me as much of a walk in the rain as a trip to the sahara would. Panning seems good. The ending is a little weak.

The tracking could be much better. Spend more time on honing your tracks with effects and volumes. Mix works nicely, but something is still amiss. Sadly, I can't exactly put my finger on it. At least the hihats are way too loud. The beats get on my nerves pretty soon. Some effects samples are overused. Anyway, the endpart was better than the beginning. Nice effort.
