Good start, the water is a nice touch. The syncs that crank up in track 3 are a little abrupt... minor detail. Very nice beat it eventually settles into, defined yet original. The leads, overall, tend to pierce my ears a bit. Nice water theme, tends to be nice and calm with it, the bubbles 3/4 through add a nice touch.

That water intro again, and it's sustained for way too long which just makes the tune sound muddy. Quality of the samples shockingly poor - remember, your size limit was 1000k, not 300k. Panning too extreme on the guitar and piano leads, and too central on the drums and sound effects. Chords horribly out of tune with the whiny sliding lead. 13 channels being used for the (very repetitive and uninteresting) drums which is NNA overkill. I'm happy to hear some chord changes, but the chords introduced in order 17 on track 7/8/9 are cut off badly - you could have use a simple volume envelope, coupled with NNAs, to do the work for you. Ending is good until the end of the very last pattern which doesn't fit at all. I admire the fact that you try to do fire-and-brimstone melodic tunes instead of the usual bang-bang t3Kkkn0 rookie stuff, but you need to work on your musical ear, use better sample sets, and develop a better knowledge of how to use the features of the tracker.

-nice start, sets atmosphere right away -cool initial beat... but where's the variation? -good choices for samples... low quality though -samples out of tune from each other in sample list -piano riff at beginning of order 14 really out of tune -nice attempt at the orchestra genre -a song to build on!... need to develop your ear a bit more to start to catch samples/sections that are out of tune...

[Filename]m6r-bfdn.it [Title]Before Dawn [General comment]Ouch... i hate to say this, but i had troubles listening to your song.Your scenario is great but you have to further develop your feeling for music a bit to be able to earn more credits for your better work. Your piano sessions are out of tune and overpanned, overpowering, your chordlines do not always fit your scenarios, your sfx casting is nice, your breaks are fine but your main rythem-line flakes on the background drowning in it's own reverb, your lead instruments (sawtooth looped waves and pianos) are a pain when playing and then you even adapt an annoying slide on the sharp saw-wave. You need to spend more time on your work but you are heading towards the right direction.

Good idea with not bad bell sample. But why so short sea loop? Really good guitar? leading ( one of few instead boring piano ).
