atmospheric kraftwerk? this is a very uniquely refreshing piece... very well done, great samples, good job on keeping it always moving and morphing and interesting to listen to... it would have been interesting to throw the audience for a suprise, and hit a different few chords and toss in a lead, but, i'm a lead kind of person and prefer to have a big melody in a song... however, this is some of the best chill out music i've heard in quite a while... good piece

I found the song very repetitive and quite honestly boring. There were too few instruments changes and the initial idea was carried way too long. The song was slow moving and very hard to get into. I regret being so harsh, but there is truly little I can say that made this piece good. Perhaps in time the author will gain experience and continue to try their hand at composition.

Good song indeed. Good ambience/jungle original music. Good chords and drums progression. The stereo quality of the song is for a good part of its sucess. Nothing special to add expect your samples have a very good quality. They sound clear and are very original. Nevertheless, there is one sample (0B) wich i still wonder of its use in the song... The end of your song is a bit strange. It's original but maybe there should have been a better transistion between 1D & 1E pattern. In fact, listening your song i feel no particular emotion, it just feel good to listen to it.

An interesting bit of music, to say the least... let's start with the samples. They were well-chosen for the piece, but could have stood a little more variety. Yes, the computer-generated synth/static samples were top-notch and well-applied in the song, but then again there wasn't much there *besides* those samples. Very polished - but it can get dull after the first couple of patterns. Originality is definitely above average on this one, as is technical prowess. This tracker knows what they're doing. None of the repetitious machine-like beats I hear a lot. The beat's fresh and unique, although I think the composer went just a little too far off the deep end with the unique bit, creating a chaos that didn't jive too well with the smooth strings at first. However, once this song hits its "climax", you can feel the smoothness of the strings finally interweaving and blending well with the sharp and punctuated percussion. I don't want to take too much time, but let me comment on three things. One, variety. The composer has done a good job with what samples they used, but some more samples and variations would have really helped this one. Two, message. I loved the surreal feel of the song, but it didn't have a whole lot to say, just an ambient mood to convey. That's not to say that every song must have a climax or "something to say," if I may use such objective terms, but on this one the mood was so perfect that it might have been nice to have used it to lead somewhere instead of meandering. And last, the ending... it was a nice touch. Many songs feel forced to come to a dominant-chord conclusion or fade out. Not this one. The composer would be well advised to keep up this sort of originality.

A decent ambient tune. Any ambient tune worth its salt should take the listener to another place, or at the very least, create some type of mood. "Boards of Canada" accomplishes both of these. The samples meshed well on a whole, with the vocals standing out. The vocal usage was quite good, adding to the mood, but not taking away from it. I thought the strings were introduced harshly; a nice gradual volume climb on them would have perhaps made that introduction a bit smoother. As the listener was eased into the end of the song, the static from "Radio Statica" was brought in, ruining the calming ending mood. This felt out of place, and detracted from ambience the song worked so hard to create.
