A very straightforward and simple dance-pop tune with few samples. There just wasn't enough music in this song and the originality was very low. The "jump around" -panning was a little bit annoying (at least while listening with headphones) and the sample quality should have been better as there were so few samples. The composer definitely should have put more effort into this song. Overall: No good (and no, I don't start the dance).

Nice intro with the strings. Typical maintream dance oriented, yet catchy. The ever so common chord progression in pop songs used effectively here. The same progression all the way through the song- same bass, chord progression, harmony, beat - makes the song sound static. Maybe could have some variations?? Eg. more drum fill-ins or another chord progression that leads up to the main theme again (a bridge). Another idea would be to cut off the beat somewhere in the middle of the song for awhile and then lead back onto the main theme again. I was also hoping to hear some crash cymbals, reverb cymbals, and snare drumrolls in a song like this, since I think it would it gave it more of an "oomph" to the song. All the samples seem to be quite commonly used, so nothing special. It was a daring attempt to have many harmonies going at once, which I thought sounded ok.

The bass line of the song sound like the euro dance group "culture beat". The song consists of pattern 0x12 - 0x15 only. During these patterns all channels are active and for the rest of the time the composer has just killed or inserted some channels. This is not enough for a 2:30 minutes song. The melody, harmony and beat lines/ideas stay the same for the whole time. Some more ideas could have this song good. The sample quality and tuning is ok, and the volume is well balanced for each instrument. Technically this song is good.

This reminds me of a typical AMIGA.MOD... The composer creates a fast melody, includes it in every pattern and adds different stuff on top of it,and *pof*.The song ends. The samples are nothing new,and to be honest, how many create all their own samples anyway? Good use of panning. The change in order #28 is really welcome, wish it would have been longer. My major complaint would be the lack of variation. It's like a train. Here it comes, schwoosh,it's gone. The composer knows how to track, now it's just a matter of figuring out a really catchy melody. I like the small filesize, wish more trackers could do smaller songs.

One thing you always want in a song is to keep the listener awake. That is where this song fails. You use the same chord progression over and over again (a cliche progression at that) and don't even throw a key change in. That is the biggest killer of this song's score. Regardless of some of the nicer aspects of it (it's cleanly mixed, the samples aren't distorted). If you want a song to do good both in contests and in general, one thing you MUST ensure is the fact that listeners don't fall sleep while listening! Interesting use of pizzicato strings in the very beginning. Nice stereo echoes on the blips that come in shortly after the pizza strings. The way you use that tambourine sample is a bit odd though, since tambourines don't tend to cut off so quickly. My suggestion would be to get a freeware sound editing program, and throw in some quick reverb, or add some echoes in IT (which wouldn't sound as good though). Nice work with hihats, although you might want to throw in some little variations. I like the way the bassdrum and bassline interact. Nice stereo effect with the marcato strings you have going on later (ripped Skaven's marcato strings, did you? bad..) The volume stutters you apply to the whole song using global volume commands at the ends of certain patterns are a bit harsh. Either don't go directly from V80 to V00 (from full volume to a complete mute), try V80 to V20, or only apply the stutters to certain channels (using the Mxx command). Nice thing you have going channels 14, 15 and 16. Try adding some vibrato on 14 and 16 though (say, H91 on 14, and H71 on right) for some more interesting stereo effects (or flange if you were to put them both in center pan). Interesting ending too, although it's really not quite good. The claps are a bit odd, try mixing in the claps with the strings playing a chord hit or something.

Has a nice effect really, though gets repetitive way to fast, needed more trasitions. Could have used better volume control (mostly that blaring highhat throughout the song). Had some good originality with the 'chippy' motif. Song ends too abrubtly.

Good song but lacked pattern quality the song was all over the place some times but got back together in the end.
