Judge: North ,DTravis Nice dramatic opening. The percussion is clean and crisp. Samples are of good quality, though some seem out of place...especially the piano. Piano is clipping -- Simple solution: span several channels with the piano sample. Also, learn the benefits of the instruments panel -- in this case the note-fade and volume fade options. |
Judge: Szmajda ,Joshua At least you have some concept of tonality, chords, and melody. The song is ok, if a bit short. and the drum line didn't suck. decent rookie. |
Judge: Rodriguez ,Daniel A classic piano-based module. It doesn't have a clear structure, and that's why it has too much melodies that appear and dissappear too quickly. The best is the fact that some of them shows talent, but some other don't. It would have been greate to create a consistent structure with the first ones. The tracker's skills aren't too high, but at least it seems that he had worked hard on this songs (or he is a real lazy veteran.. ;-) ). Most of the samples work well in the background, but the main instrument, the piano, doesn't have quality enough. |
Judge: Tanase ,Adrian The guy is maybe a pretty good piano player but is way too far a rookie. Anyway, pretty nice drums for his way of tracking, though. I could say that a little panning and volume could radically improve the piano part. In rest nice 16 bit samples but unwisely used... |
Judge: Norilo ,Vesa Technically the song is rather poor. You use the samples you have selected far out of their optimal pitch range. Structurally there is not much coordination here, some kind of parts are distinguishable but they seem to have no logic. You need to practice all aspects of tracking, but rest assured, it will come to you with time. |
