Good solid generic ravey techno music. Nothing really standout about it. Absolutely nothing terrible about it either. It’s just not very original. With some nice gimmicky vocals or something similar it could possibly get more attention but then again that could also ruin the smooth flow and destroy the song.

Main criticism I have of this song is that there's not enough variation in the main theme. The overall progression of the theme of this song is rather generic, I could predict what was going to happen next quite often. Why did you wait until order 29 to change the basic theme, and then still not change it too much? It might have been better to change it earlier and keep it longer. It would have perhaps been better to buildon that instead of reverting back to the original theme, or possible to change it even more as it went on. That all said, I rather enjoyed the song overall. I got into the groove of the song quite early on and stayed there the whole time. I think I'll keep this one in my collection. This is the second rookie song that I've judged that's better than many intermediates :). On a technical note, be careful with note doubling. I mean, playing the same note of the same sample more than once at the same time. That sounds bad to GUS users like me and perhaps for people with other wavetable cards. Rookies this year seem not to know that, as I've had to type this in more than once :).

First, there is a 16 bits sample lost in the sea of 8 bits. Turn this little guy into an 8 bits too. The only real use of 16 bits is for high-pitch instruments. Most cords and some wind instruments need to be recorded in 16 bits in order to sound real. Second of all, I know that it's an Impulse Tracker format, but get rid of the unused channels anyway. C-A#-D#-F is a progression that I can't endure anymore. You don't need to be a genuine scientist to make wild experiments. I'm very happy that you've change the mood in order #16. I don't hear that often in danse- techno music. In the same train of thought, I understand that you had to stick to the theme and repeat it until our ears bleed for the song to have its original danse style, but I would have greatly appreciated to hear the theme evolve from a basic and simple riff to something more complex.

A good tune, well tracked, nice samples. The only thing I find against it is the unoriginal main tune. (lead). Its a jumpy dance track and the tracker obviously knows his way around this style of music. He builds the tune right though a layer more sometimes could had make the tune mark higher.

A decent song. Sounds like it was made for a 1hour compo though. Kinda bland, good riffs, melody was ok. The percussion was rather mundane. The samples were decent but nothing remarkable. Good luck on your next song d00d!
