I listen to this and I start to wonder if you have at all heard your own bassline :) It is completely off key and it doesn't fit in by far. Your main melody is good, and the guitar in the background is also quite cosy. But the drums are badly mixed (far too loud). You could have done something else with the ending rather than just fading/slowing it down, and the variation at the very end you surely could've done without.

The panning in the beginning is too fast. The lead in the second order is a bad sample and could use a little fade instead of note cut. The solo from order 9 seems like going nowhere and doesn't fit the song. The end isn't good, the slowing down with only one channel needs to be changed. The background voice (channel 1) stays the same from the beginning to the end which make the song less interesting. Sorry that I wrote only the bad things... vel

While "Flash Flood" started out with a nice panning effect, and a lot of ambient sound (which really help the atmosphere of a song), it, well, just didn't really go anywhere. After the drumbeat started, it didn't change until the end, where the bass and snare drum were taken out. In fact, about 75% of the song was used over and over again. The bass on Channel 10 was a little too overpowering, but for some reason, it fit the song (I didn't really take points off for that). However, this song worked in one area where so many others have failed: it had its own sound. I haven't really heard anything quite like it before. Unfortunately, I would have given a higher score if the ambient sounds in the beginning had been used for the rest of the song. Overall, not too good, but not too bad, either.

I like the clear atmosphere created by sample 1 and the drum set. But, couldn't quite figure out the direction of the song. Enjoyable music with a nice mix of instruments, but appears to just wander. The end was nice.. as I almost expected fading off. Nice. Overall, good job, just make your music say something more. Don't just let it go in circles.

This song begins quite promising, establishing a cool theme, introducing the beat with cool "whooshy" special effects and everything... but unfortunately, through the rest of the song, it just gives more of the same... it may bring in a bell sample, and it may drop the bass and beat at the end... and that's cool. But it needs so much more... like an alternating theme and evolving mood, for example. The background piano-synth notes never change... I'm pretty sure the bassline doesn't change much either. Simply put, the author came up with a cool theme, but it cannot support the entire song like the author tries to have it do.
