This song had a very ambient spacey feel to it with a mellow groove, but lacked a theme the listener could attach themselves to. Honestly though, add the theme and a louder bass and you've got a great song. You can have ambience, but it helps to have a theme of some sort other than a soft background piano.

slow, nice, triphoppy, cool.. and reasonably original. i like it. form: very good. next time, you should consider entering at intermediate level. technique: excellent use of breakbeats. i like how it shifts from slow to fast. at the very end you add a hihat. you should have kept it in the whole song. samples: all 8-bit, unfortunatly. but they fit the song well. you seem to have crafted some of them yourself. i don't see how the vocal sample is relevent to your song, though.

This tune is simply great. Very personnal, clean samples, effective stereo pannings, mellow harmonies, trippy atmosphere, crazy bass, subtile beat, professional construction... Just one reproach : you could easily enter veteran division. Well done.

I like the dark feel at the beginning of this song. The rhodes piano sounds good and doesn't detract from the feel. The song is changing finally (you may have waited too long for that change) and a drumloop is coming out of the left ear on my 'phones. Your samples are good, but for form you will have some trouble since the focus of this song is more on the mix and the sound the song produces rather than the musical aspects. Again I think you managed very effectively to achieve a dark feel for this song so I would give this song a good technical rating, and also the samples are good and well-used. It also is one of the more original songs I've heard. But since I only get to give you one rating, I'll have to give this song a good rating because I really do like the feel of it.

This song does establish a dreary effect as its name implies. However, this effect changes very seldomly, causing the song in the long run, to be monotonous and repetitive. Song seems somewhat unique. Samples were nice. Overall effect was a drowsy spell.
