This song competed in the rookie division of Music Contest 6, where it ranked in block 1.

Sample quality was ok, and the samples fit together quite well, except that the lead and sample 0C (especially in orders 3-4) were a little bit too rough and powerful compared to the other samples. No comments about the tarzan sample... at least the start was different ;). The overall progression of the song was quite ok, except that the transition (order 0F) didn't work at all. Lead and chord progression in orders 18-19 was nice. Solos were technically ok, but like in so many tracked songs, the chords and melodies were so ordinary that they didn't wake any feelings. Anyway, quite good piece of music to be in a rookie series.

This song is definatively in the wrong category. I would have entered this in the Intermediate or even Veteran section. The start of the song with the Tarzan sample is very original and unique. Although the sound lacks a totally shocking/rocking melody line it is not boring to listen to. The composer knows how to change between slower and more actionful passages. Apart from a very good melody or lead passage this song is close to perfect, in fact this song was better than the veteran songs I had to judge, therefore:

This was a quite well produced and enjoyable song. Although some areas do need refinement, it was simple but effective. The technique was not perfect, but it was adequate. Echos on the leads were a bit loud and too soon after the main lead channel, and it needs some panning. However, a reasonable sound was produced. The sample set not bad - perhaps it would have benefited from some less electronic drum samples, but otherwise the samples, while not the best ever made, worked well enough together. Form-wise, it seemed a little plodding - maybe using some faster notes would have improved it. It seemed to be getting quite repetitive but just as it was starting to be annoying, it changed well. The structure of the song was quite well done. A pretty good effort, this. None of it is outstanding, and there are some problems in all areas, but overall it works quite well. A decent rookie song.

Pretty good really, good originality and form. However there were some major and minor things that hurt the score bad; lack of some effective volume changes (lead is blaring), absolutly no panning what so ever, could have used some effects in some places, in order 15 the transition was not smooth. Otherwise it's a pretty cool song.

Very nicely done patterns were done very well but the only problem was some samples were not needed in the song which threw off the song complely

Very good song indeed, doesn't belong in the rookie category at all. The melodies are catchy and well-varied. The 10:th pattern uses a nice break that is needed to keep the listener interested.Samples work perfectly together and are used with great skill. No prerecorded melodies here! Hell, even Tarzan fits in ;) Did i say that i like this? Not only the leads are nice, but the stuff that goes on behind it too, (the submelodies)actually i learned a couple of things, while listening to it. Small, but effective use of effects, still the song could use panning to get a more "fluffy" sound. I'm keeping this.
