Experimental? I suppose that's a fairly safe category to put this tune into. The intro was horrible, the laser zap sample has GOT to go, it's way tired and overused. The melody and chord changes were horribly out of tune, the melody was going minor while the chords were going major. Panning was not used to any kind of decent effect. At order 13 the note bends were horribly off. Most of the samples were either out of tune or weren't used IN tune. Was the cowbell really necessary? At the outro, the 4 1/2 step melody/harmony was really bad, variance is highly needed there. Needs much more work.

The groove isn't that bad for a rookie, but good god tune those samples and track a decent lead. The leads are simply wrong and they all conflict with one another. A lot of this song actually hurts my ears.

This piece starts out with a bang, then settles into a fairly repetitive chord progression and drumbeat that plays through the whole song. It is original sounding, with some good melodies, but doesn't sound like a major symphonic feat. I would expect to hear parts of it in a video game as background music. The tracker's technique is very good, and the ease in which the piece gets it's point across is shown through good tracking skills. Panning and other such considerations are handled well. The samples are in tune and are of good quality. Overall, this piece plays well and can be played repeatedly without the listener getting tired of it, but other than the striking beginning, it doesn't stand very far from the competition. But since most of the competition is good quality, that is no loss.

nice laser zapp rhythmline. the bass is kinda boring. the melodies are just plain awful. nothing very exciting about it.

Some samples annoyingly lo-fi. No functional chord progressions and some samples are way out of tune. Some samples work well, others don't. The beat is OK, but lead sample is way too loud, out of tune and clashing. If music and tracking are really important you, I recommend picking up an instrument. That way you will familiarize yourself intimately with professional music.

One thing I noticed after 30seconds into the song, wa that this song was going to be a classic "cut N paste". The artist for most of the song the same beat going on consistantly without any changes (until around pattern 26 or 27). Also the artist should practice on the general timing of when instruments should play and when they shouldnt. Some samples were slightly out of tune and the analog synth lead that would be portamenting in I believe channel 6 or 7 had notes that were playing that did not fit with the scale the song was in. The beat was interesting and sounded much like what you would find normally in an industrial styled song, and though the beat wasn't too bad it didn't seem to fit the rest of the song. The artists should focus on the rhythm more and their timing. That alone will make your songs sound more sharper and allow the listener to follow what what you had in mind.

The first part I noticed that needed some work was the Bass strings. Some more work was really needed there. There were many times in the song where the notes didn't fit right (dissonant), Especially the brass sections (sample 21) really wasn't that great. A good example of this is at Order 18. The next song you make, make sure NO notes are not conflicting with each other. Try and avoid the over-use of pitch slides. Some NNAs could have made the song richer. Some of the samples could have been better quality. Other than all that, just spend a lot of time on your songs. The more time you spend on them, the better.
