The first order of this song is quite cool (if one has equipment good enought to play those low sounds) but after that the multi-layered pianos just don't fit together well enough. Maybe there are too many layers and it gets too "heavy" to listen to them. Sample quality is quite good, but in my opinion there should have been some additional "different" samples to get some variation to the overall sound of the song. Also, some drums would have made this song better. In addition, the structure of this song is too simple, there is only one section that keeps first groving and then fading. It gets too repetitive after a while.

You need some higher-pitched piano samples when the higher notes start coming in order 3. Some of your echoes are deeper than necessary, one channel plus two echoing channels is usually sufficient. I liked what you were doing in channel 32 with the string samples, it blended well with the rest of the song. I'm sure you could have come up with a better way to end the song, though. Remember that the ending is supposed to close the song, and fading does not close songs very well. I'll have to compliment orders 7 and 8, I think they are the strongest parts of the song. The chord changes between the patterns are very good. All in all, this was a very well-done entry for the rookie category.

An interesting piano/strings based piece, but I think the use of echos may have been a bit eccessive. A couple of the samples sound just a little out of tune, but not enough to become annoying. The chord progession is nice, but a little of the repditive side. The change up midway turning the piece is well done, and the counter melody of the strings sets a good mood. The tune actually seemed to improve each time I listened to it, and first I didn't think much of it, but I ended up liking the tune. The piano sample does sound a bit tinny in the higher ranges, but in the base sounds good. Not a bad job.

I liked the part beginning at pos 8 best. Anyway, I find your music a bit chaotic. No real form, but at least the song progresses quite smoothly. The worst part is the complete chaos on the bass section. Too many separate bass voices with inadequate coordination. I discourage using more than one bass voice unless you really know what you are doing. Echo is also overdone, especially on the bass voices. As I play both the violincello and the piano, I find your modeling of these instruments more than lacking. Solo strings are tricky for even the toughest veterans, so no big penalty there for you. I do enjoy this piece to some extent, and I detect effort behind your entry. Some really nice harmonies tickle my ears here and there, but they are so far between that I can't be sure if they are intentional or accidental.

I'm afraid some parts of this song annoyed me intensely, which is a shame as there appears to be some good musical ideas in here somewhere. At least, there might be, as most of the song is completely lost in a mess of echos. The pianos are all echoed - and rather loudly too. By all means, echo the piano quietly, it may sound good. Better yet add some reverb in a sample editor. But don't ever use such loud echos like that on an instrument like a piano. I mean, it approaches a dirge in places. Apart from that, the drums are pretty terrible - it seems like no effort went into them at all. The sample set is pretty average. This is all a shame as it seems like bad technique has ruined what might have been a decent song. Although the intro is quite poor, with all the bass piano sounds - it sounds like it's trying to be a cheesy house song at that point - later on some of the progressions are quite nice. The part with the high piano sounds works well in particular. This could have been much much better with some more thought.
