Only two things can explain this piece being in the rookie division - either you're shockingly low on self-confidence, or you're just out for a ViperMax card. ;) Seriously, though; this is, truly and honestly, a glorious piece of music. It starts off by setting the mood, then just as you think you've figured out where the song's taking you, it changes direction completely, and it's swept you away before you even know where you're going. I freely admit to being hopelessly hooked on this tune; I've been listening to it now for two days solid and can only find one serious flaw - sample 0C (I dunno, it sounds a bit too artificial for a violin) - and even that doesn't really do the song any damage worth dwelling on. Apart from that, the choice of samples seems just about right - clear, crisp and dynamic. The whole song has an unparalleled feel of dynamism, power and vitality which I can't recall hearing in any tracked piece, certainly not within a few months. The melody is perfect. The percussion is lively and ideal for the genre. The chord structure and bassline are the most delightfully matched that I've ever heard. I can *dream* of tracking as good a combination as this. I'll admit. I'm jealous. Of a rookie. (And I entered veteran. Imagine what this is doing to my confidence!@# ;} ) It's precisely for that reason that I'm willing this song all the way to first place. Next time, for god's sake, enter as a veteran! :)

*File Specs* [Filename]m6r-moad.xxx [Title]Mind of a Dreamer [Total playing time]05:04 *Musical Values* [Creativity]I think we have a division winner here, but should the author be so happy with that?, the creativity is in professional state, details are well covered and mixing is supreme. [Story]ET-II-theme [Structure]It starts slowly with Sfx, the piano comes in and slowly the song starts to form a shape, the theme comes with impact continueing the tensional building intro and then breaks to the main theme, slowly but surely going to a climax and then shuts down to a pause-section to bam into the final ending, quiting with an instrumental breakdown leaving the environment the way it started with.[Harmony]Far out.[Realness/Fantasy factors]"No more words..." *Technical Values* [Instruments]Fair.[Samples]Familiar but good. [Arrangements]good to real good:swell piano emulation, cool mixing, variable in technique yet solid and known what to use...[Use of...]Actually abuse of:Devision,My,my, shouldn't you be ashamed that you joined the wrong division? I had 15 song assignments in total judgung requirement and your stands out as best out of these 15, i think you have either typed in the wrong letter for your division-assignment or you are cheating, next year be sure that you compete instead of cheat.[Sample Quality]Reasonable to good. *Sounding Techniques* [Depth]Okay. [Width]Super. [Headphones]No comment:listen instead. [Speakers]No comment:Listen instead.

You shouldn't have played the beginning's theme again at the end. Listen to your module again without the 35th order. It's just preference matters, but... Other than that, there's just one point I could reproch you. The high ressemblance with Purple Motion. I must take some points off for originality (even if I adore the style). For example, compare "Seaside Hotel 2 - rooms"'s (from the Stage 9 musicdisk) 3rd and 9th patterns to your 7th and 8th ones. Then, you may compare "Insideout"'s pattern 7 to your 4th one. I also found ressemblances to "Seaside Hotel" and "Panic". I believe you'll lose points for this in the second round (I'm sure you'll make it). Whatever happens, I wish you the best of luck in MC6 and all future modules you'll make as this is one of my favorites of all time.

Great song. Excellent. It's hard to believe a rookie would make a song like this. The biggest problem with the song was the atrocious volume control. It was very distracting to hear 16 channels high volume. It caused some disortion. Also the lead guitar was bad quality. A less piercing one would've worked better. Overall a great song, or did i say that already? Good luck on your next song!

WHOA! What in gods name is this doing in the rookie section??? This track is pure brilliance and pleasure. Ok, so it reminded me a *lot* of some older Groo & Captain tracks, but who cares? They ruled, and this track definitely DOES rule... A Lot! Brilliant stuff! Keep it up and hope to see you again in vet section next year :)
