Rather bland tune. Sort of ambient techno not unlike that of itchy and scratchy. Good to see some breaks in here instead of droning the rhythm on for the whole tune. However, the orchestration is a bit weak, leaving me in a state of non-emotion. I don't know if I like or dislike this tune. Good use of panning envelopes and command panning, but still the song sounds very mono with only a few channels straying from the norm. I can't see any connection between the title 'pocketmode'and the tune.

In the introduction, the choir didn't sound that good. Also, if you are using voice samples, don't repeat them over and over again. The last thing you want to do is bore your listener. The basses could have been more creative, and some of the other riffs where only hitting two notes, either an octive, or a fith apart. Also, about the percussion. A drum beat that goes B...S...B...S...B...S...B...S..sB gets really boreing VERY quickly. Some really good advice, go to "www.hornet.org", and go to the "Zen of Tracking". There's some really good advice there. Other that that, listen to other songs, and practice practice practice. But most importantly, learn as much about music theory as you possible can. Some more notes: You did an OK job as far as sample quality is concerned.

The song would work better without having to rely on the voice samples for direction. The first three and a half minutes could easily be comdensed. The last bit when the choir enters is good. Having that theme come in much earlier in the piece would work well. Currently, it ends right when it gets interesting.

Absolutely nothing in this song excites me. The quality of sound is good but the choice of samples is weird in some places. The vocal sample sounds pointless and is overused. The choir sounds out of place and out of tune (+40 sounds better but still not good). Needs some kind of melody. It's bland without one. The hihat sample needs more volume changes. It sounds too stuttery all at the same volume. Whole song seems empty.

the beginning of this song is really repetative. some of the ideas are nice and the different samples as well as the different parts of the song fit together well but some things are repeated to much, making it boring and/or annoying at parts. your bass is really poppy, and the general sample quality could be improved.
