hmmm, didn't know there were any sceners doing a dj krush sort of thing... this isn't a bad job for its style, but it just doesn't quite have a good solid steady groove, it's more chill, so i'll take it as that... some of those samples don't seem to really fit with the feel of the tune... it's a bit too violent... not a bad job, and it's cool to see this style floating around in the scene...

It started quiet well. Good drumloop and an original mood for the music. Unfortunately, there are a few black points. First, i think the point you lack is a general leading for your song. It leads nowhere. It's between an ambience and a normal music which could be a new style but i don't really appreciate. Sample quality is one of the two worst point i think. There are many clicks although some are 16 bits samples. I know it can be intentionaly (like the music of Portishead) but i really don't feel it is the case for your song. I'm sure if you improve the quality and add more different samples it will make your song richer. And please don't use too much speaking samples in the future. It has to express something and it is difficult to choose the right moment your module has to "talk". After listening to the whole music, i wondered if there was different parts. My answer is no. I really fell like listening the same patterns again and again. There are a few breaks (not so much) but there aren't really useful. For closing these remarks, i have to say i's a pitty your song only finish with a lowering volume.

Okay, we'll start with the samples. I don't think they're bad, but then again I wouldn't call them spectacular either. There's a good deal more recording of riffs than there is of individual notes. As a result, the song sounds cool for approximately twenty seconds, after which the realization hits that what you're listening to is mostly a set of riffs played in a random fashion. Sure, it's "ambient" music, but that's little excuse to use a drumloop and a few riffs as the main theme of your song. One thing I don't want to do is discourage the composer, who obviously has a good grasp of ambient mood. However, this song is somewhat lacking in variety and it's a challenge to tell one pattern apart from another (although, to the author's credit, there are places in the song where the unending rhythm lets up for a few moments). In short, not a spectacular display of tracking skill, but possibly a roughness created by a budding genius. Stay tuned.

In the years I have been listening to MODs and the like - I have NEVER heard anything like this. This song scores extremely high on the originality section. While listening to this, it is quite easy to see the author is making a statement about war or something. The author takes and uses sampled voices quite effectively. I can't help but think of the Americans in the Vietnam war when listening to the song. However, with all this, the song is noticeably lacking. There aren't enough key changes and new rythms. The song is quite repetitive, but still very interesting.

Despite the poor quality of the drum samples, i like the scratchy, old-record quality they bring out.. This is obviously an attempt at something triphoppish, a sound collage of sorts.. unfortunately the samples chosen aren't too interesting. The muted trumpet riff is out of tune with the rest of what's going on.. this one just trudges on and on, repeating the vocal sample and then fades.. pretty weak composition..
