Boring, repetitive, bad bass. Annoying water sample throughout the whole tune. Quite nice samples and ideas, but you never manage to take it anywhere.

Judge: Buffoni ,Mirko

Choirs are totally unlinked from the main theme, and too loud, and this distracts listener attention. Sample set need to be revitalized, and generally, the author should tend to learn more tracking functions, to improve trimbric control over the song.

Oh dear. I felt that this tune was lacking in a lot of areas. The tune was too simple I felt (ie, the two finger pianist) and too slow. I almost thought it was going to get faster when the buildup started to play but then it cut out and there was no other difference to the music.

I think that begin is very long. And some instruments has a bad quality (river, birds). And one more begin at order 20 is not connected with order 19. That's why last part doesn't suit for part before. Maybe I'm wrong.

This was a fairly original song but didn't vary enough to keep me very interested (in particular the piano lead and the percussion could have used more variation). A few of the synth sounds were kind of annoying. The ending section felt kind of tacked-on. The running water noise was more distracting than helpful. Nevertheless it was ok to listen to.

Everything about this song is sparse: drums, bass, structure. The strings are not properly faded, the transitions are not smooth enough for ambient. The piano has a disturbing rumble and the ambience effects (river, birds) sound like they were sample through a telephone. The author didn't use a bass, there are only some deeper strings in places. I really like the A -> E progression of the deep strings at the beginning of the string part, but one good point is not enough for a good song. At least, it's all tuned, unlike some other rookie entries. Not many effects were used, and what they did could have been done easily with NNAs, saving channels in the process.
