Hey cool! A chip tune! This tune reminded me instantly of old amiga chip tunes and playing on my NES. Pleanty of variance in the melody to keep me interested. Nice variety of samples too considering the style of the music. I love it.

'Great stuff. This is a song I'll listen to for a long time.' and 'Very good quality. Some real talent was behind this'. Very, very cool chip-tune. Flutes are very great (especially for such size :) Sometimes I forget that it's chip-tune, because it's like as real non-chip tune. Orders 8,9,10,11(patterns 7,8,9,10) are very good. Well it's very enjoable tune.

I understand that chiptunes generally have less possibilities than 'normal' tunes, but that shouldn't be an excuse. If you enter a chip, you can hope for a high efficiency rating. Granted. Still there are some points that make the song drop below the average. First of all, the overall sound is weird in a not-so-cool way. Most of the leads do not work together very well with each other and the repetitive bass. The portamentos are too slow. The start of order 8 is good, but the author didn't keep that quality up. The whole tune tends to sound a bit dissonant.

I get the feeling that some effort was put into this piece, but a lot f work is needed to fix this tune up. Some much better samples would make this a considerably better song. The technique is too basic and could certainly use on both melody and harmony, as well as a less repetitive drum loop from time to time. The volume for every note and pattern is a little too static, making this song somewhat dull. The basic idea behind this song is visible, but I don't know if this particular tune could be saved.

Cool! A chip tune in a compo like this, I love your guts =) Nice little ditty, I like it a lot, in fact my only complaint is the uninspiring drumtrack which is the only thing which drags down the tune IMO. hmm plus the fact since it's a chip track, you should have used a more chip style drum sample. But that's just me being picky :)
