The sample set is pretty diverse but it seems like it was pieced together from too obvious sources -- orchestra hit from Space Debris if I can believe my ears, and two others I can't place but have heard elsewhere. The bass isn't quite the right one for this song. The song has a recognizable storyline, which works in your favor. The lead is too jumpy, in order 0B and following -- it could use some drone notes to fill it out instead of (or in addition to!) that echo. The part beginning at order 1Fh has a sour bass note but it doesn't sound like there was much else that could be done. The slow gating at order 03 is distracting. I'd say double the speed. Overall, it's kind of cookbook, and inexperienced at that. The originality will come with time and practice I think.

This is one of the more unoriginal songs I've heard in this contest. It sounds like demomusak without the catchiness - a cheap, poor drum beat (using a drumloop in places), orch hits, and general synthetic cheapness. Not a good way to impress. The samples are quite poor throughout. Unoriginal sounds, cheap and dull, and many are quite low quality. Some of the sounds on their own are quite good, but together they form a set which is not of the highest quality. You need to try tuning the samples much more carefully. Technically the song is below average, with a bizarre and unneccessary use of lots of speed commands (alternating quickly and erratically between 3 and 4), when it would have been far easier to change the tempo - and would not have changed the sound. Envelopes have been used in places to a reasonable effect. At least panning was used.. The mixing is not great, however. There is much that needs to be improved on in the technical side. The form side needs possibly more work. If you do a song in this style, one which we have all heard so many times before, it's important that you make it catchy, which unfortunately this song fails to do. There is some awful use of synthesiser-ish heavy guitar, and some attempts at a melody, but nothing that is much good. It actually gets better nearer the end, with a slow section that is OK - although you need to make sure the bass is in key with the rest of it. There is great overuse of a reverse cymbal sample, which sounds incredibly cheap. Originality is pretty much out of the window. This is not the worst song I've seen, but it needs a huge amount of effort to make something good with it. Adding a melody, chords.. these things would be a good idea. And perhaps at least trying to have some musical ideas which are not already done to death would be a good thing too.

Play some more with volume effects, because the volume doesn't really change at all throughout the song. Try to introduce some new themes or introducing them in different ways; the song gets kinda boring around the middle.

guitar sample is kinda rough. pattern 3,4,8,9 too conjested, your ideas get lost in the confusion. lack variety in rhythm and melody. there is no musical direction in the song, it seems very repetitive and doesn't really draw the listener in. Try variety of melody and rhythm.

Bad samples, faint drums, I hardly calls this think a track. The only thing bearable (maybe) is the rhythm, and that's it. A total waste of time, this is the worst tune I heard from the MC6 entries by now.
