I started to play it and thought: "Oh no, not another dull dance tune". But as it develops I discover that you've actually managed to create an atmosphere rarely to be seen in tunes of this style. It never gets anywhere, but then again it's not very necessary in this tune. You should definitely have made a proper ending. All in all a quite OK effort.

Great song, channel 0-7 at the start is more something to watch instead of listen to though. By order 1Fh it starts sounding a little cluttered, to many active channels, some should be cut down for a cleaner sound. I would have liked to see more variation in the melodys also, it got a little repedative at times. Instrument 1 may need re-doing as it's too loud, and crackles a bit, perhaps from clipping. The end drags out _way_ too long, inserting the jump a few patterns earlier will create move interest ihmo. Also it sounds much better in Impulse Trackers since it uses wider panning, perhaps some modifcations here to widen it for Fast Tracker. On panning, the vocals are done well but you might want to off-center some of your panning. Other than being a bit repedative it's a very nice track, I see great potential here, but am wondering if the song really belongs in this catagory or not.

I was almost expecting to hear "MORTAL KOMBAT!" yelled because of the intro, but I am glad that this isn't that type of song. The vocals are overpowering, perhaps you might want to turn down the volume of them. This song has some repetition in it, and it makes the song boring to listen to after a while. I think you should try to go somewhere with your ending, instead of just fading it out. Unfortunately, this song doesn't ever shine in my mind.

MORTAL KOMBAT!!! heh, well, the first notes start off like that. I have to say, this track shows how vocals should REALLY be used in tracks, most vocals sound lame, but this is fits just right. Stereo effects keep motion. Drum beats are placed irregulary in the beginning, which is great, to keep it "non" generic, which most dance music fall to. Instruments volume are right. Your "acid" type instruments could be clearer, too much instrument residue gives it a static feel, even though it's not static. Great piece, hope u make round 2. Good luck.

Great tracking and interesting techno song _destroyed_ by vocals. The vocals were especially noticeably bad in sound quality. However, most of the samples were a bit fuzzy. However, your talents show through during the other parts of the song. I like how you use sample 1. Overall.. good song. What do you have to do? Get rid of the vocals and upgrade your samples. Samples are very important. In fact, often, the samples are more important than the tune. So, don't underestimate the value of sample quality. Use 16-bit when you can....fill up that one-meg limit.
