This song just doesn't fit together at all. You have a few good sequences but they don't flow into each other at all. The transitions are non-exsistant like from pattern 2 to pattern 6, they are completely different and it sounds terrible. This said, pattern 6 is by far the best pattern because it actually sounds quite good. But it mst be said that the rest just sounds like you worked on the blocks one by one and then threw them together randomly. The panning is pointless as well. The samples you have chosen are quite good, so next time you should listen to how perhaps some of the verteran tunes fit together and try to copy that. Take one idea and use it, build around it. You have some good ideas so keep working at it.

This track lacks subtlety in both progressions and music and is sometimes overly loud. The tracking technique, however, is quite good. Early in the song the beat is simple and effective, but becomes overworked later. I think some pannings are too extreme but other channels should be off-centred to give more depth to the sound. The drum work becomes loud and irritating in places and the song is somewhat disjointed. There are some dissonant harmonies that need to be reworked. There are good parts that show potential here, but many areas need more subtlety and work.

This song was very disjointed. Different ideas just plastered together with not progression or movement between them. What's worse is that there were really no interesting parts in the song. Maybe focus on one idea and try to perfect that instead of going off on to some weird tangent all of a sudden. Everything was mixed wrong too, like everything was at full volume so there were no distinguishable parts or dynamics in the song. Oh yea and the panning was too extreme, too.

definately different, but a lot of places were hard to listen to or clashed. some interesting ideas, but needs to be smoothed out to be listenable

It would appear that this is a mish-mash of samples thrown together through experimentation. The bass was interesting at first, but conflicts with everything else. The retriggered instruments are a bit too forceful as they drown out everything else. There are also some problems with harmony as quite a number of the notes just simply don't go together. The song also appears to have several distinct themes which are joined back-to-back without much transition, thus making it hard to follow. You might start next time by picking one of the themes and elaborating on it throughout rather than trying to roll all of them together.

i seriously dislike the use of LEFT/RIGHT panning, if you listen to a recording of your favorite artist you'll find that they rarely do that sort of thing in a professional studio... the grraoerhohoh distorted blah sample is ugly... the entire feel of the song is kinda neat but some of the samples are weak, especially the noise... that choir is nice... very cheap transition with only drums, nice rip of the old amiga thump bass, terrible use of a low-pitched snare... it's a try at being dark but fails by being ugly instead, the noise shouldn't really be used, i'd prefer to hear a dark style being mellow or smooth yet evil sounding, or hard GRR and in-your-face attacking, not a popdance song with minor chords...sample at end is very noisy, very fuzzed and the noise sample just shouldn't exist...
