Judge: Buffoni ,Mirko Interesting song, but difficult to listen. The song keeps changing theme, but drums in background are always of the same entity and in the same panning position, fooling the listener who try to find a connection between themes. The song comes with good quality samples, and shows a great amount of work of the author. Keep up the good work! |
Judge: Moyes ,Glen This was a pretty good orchestrated piece. You could have been a little more carefull when using synthesised instruments to replase real ones, but what can I say? We trackers don't exactly have access to a real orchestra. However, aside from minor technicalities, this is a great piece of music. Order 14 was a real nice part of the song. My only complaints, is that the song was not as "full" as you would normally expect. Some parts might have needed a little more work, but still. This song surpases any tracked orchestral pieces I've heard! Great job! (some parts reminded me of Ben-Hur and Warcraft). |
Judge: Zahn ,Derek This is a pretty nice song to listen to; the sounds work very well together and the melody is quite strong. The hornish lead featured about halfway through doesn't work very well, sounds kind of clumsy (I mean the sound not the melody). The various sections are pretty good, but I didn't get a sense that they fit together very well; the song kind of wanders around aimlessly, but overall it sounds very nice, making it an above average entry. |
Judge: Gayvoronsky ,Andrey Wow! Excellent work! Real VETERAN was here. Real multichannel music! Comments? Haven't time (listen) :) Instruments great, rythm great, idea great - all great. But only 99, sorry I don't know your name (I think that 1 score is enought for only name :) And this against your death from happy :) (Hmm 99! I don't think that I will give anybody more then 85 in Round 1 :) P.S.: Thanx for this great music(your great work). |
Judge: Fok ,Bernard A very catchy main theme to the song. Sounds like a theme for a Walt Disney animation or a movie about a kungfu legend. A song full of energy, maybe too much energy and activity in the first half, in my opinion, even though it calmed down near the end. Most of the instruments sounded very realistic in the song, except the string and a couple of other samples. The use of so many channels were daring, but you showed you could balance the channels very effectively, in terms of volume and panning. |
