"Touring the Lilypads" is just that-a tour. The listener is not allowed to see the rest of the pond, unfortunately. From the main statement to the first dynamic segment, "Touring the Lilypads" never ventures far outside of that diagram. To be sure, the lead keeps things interesting, but I was just hoping for something to break out of that inital mold. Virtual channels were used effectively, making this tune sound much bigger than it should. The during the dynamic sequences were very well sequenced. The samples were not anything extraordinary, but fit the overall feel of the song.

Nice title. :) Your samples all perform well with each other, and are well-chosen. The lead is weak, though I'd be hard-pressed to say exactly why... It just seems to be a bit too generic, like it's using phrases from classical songs we've all heard... No... Like a singer. It sounds like the lead is replacing a voice, with lyrics. That's what this song needs: lyrics. (Personally, I hate lyrics, but your song is begging for them.) The flow of this song is another weak point: it repeats a "chorus" twice, then varies it... A typical introduction/recapitulation/variation flow. The opening is nicer than the ending... There's some magic in this song, but it falls apart in places. I think it's a bit out of it's element. But it's a nice song nontheless.

Good entry, but badly tuned and very old samples. They sound a bit too grainy to me, they show their age. The arppegiato could change thru the song... It's OK, nothing very outstanding.

Good song in 'verse' style. Good FX and drums. But in few minutes it seems to be little bit sleepy. Not good trumpet? sample is killing the song mood.

Sounds like game music =) I dig it. Nice structure, nice melody. A little too bland. More reverb on the lead would've helped. The lead was ever so slightly out of tune but it didn't hurt =). Good luck on your next song! Whether it sounds like acid tetris or not. =) hehehe

The song was pretty nice. it was kinda boring though. I think that if you use a more extensive range of pitch and played around with volume some it would fix this problem though. pretty good overall though.
