A very rough sounding and standard sample set that is of poor to fair quality. The violin sample and vibrato of the sample becomes very irritating. A clear violin sample with no vibrato on it and vibrato added manually when necessary would have been far more effective and made the melody of this piece far more peaceful and enjoyable to listen to. Although the melody is fairly well written it becomes rather boring after a while, seeming to drag and meander in no predefined direction making the listener drift away from the feel of the song, until they are no longer hearing it at all. More variation and life would prevent this. The beat also needs to be more interesting and original. Pattern 12 and five minutes into the song I had to skip forward some to prevent a sleeping state. Life and variation are the two major elements lacking, but with more polish, ideas, and originality this track could have potential. It is possibly a good cure for hypnophobics :)

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long for a music contest song. In the four minutes that I listened, I did not hear one single deviation from the theme in any way. If there's no variety, then people are not going to listen for very long, especially with a ten-minute song! Now, on to other details. Sample 29 has built-in vibrato. Avoid these samples when possible, low notes result in weird-sounding, slow vibrato and high notes are even worse. The percussion was just a bit too quiet to really make the song more interesting. And I can't stress this enough: If you have a long song, you HAVE to make it interesting, otherwise you'll lose your audience! "The Zen Garden" is a good example of what I'm talking about.

-song sucked me into it, very soothing -nice clean sound very good sample choices -did not get boring, good variation -snare needs to be tuned... when it does its panning sweep -ABUSES the 4 minute rule! very nice song... but I didn't hear the last 6 minutes!!, I know its good but try to hit the mark... I wonder what the ending is actually like?... I would listen to this tune again for the sake of enjoying it again

I wasn't quite sure what to think of this track... It had good atmosphere, but I think the length killed it. Yes I did listen all the way through. :) I bet some judges didn't, and in any case, 'mormed' was too long not to drag by the end. Especially because there wasn't really much sense of progression in it. The track played along for a while, then the drums cut in and I expected some motion, but the song just played from section to section without gaining any intensity. The style was quite original, haven't heard anything else like it this year... The texture was good by and large, but there were a few problems. Your strings were often held for long intervals; IMO it would have been better to fade them, as they distracted attention and got bland, even annoying. ( Also, when you did cut them off, it was sometimes sudden. ) Balance between instruments was very well done, except for the drums- they were often blanketed over entirely. I think yo would have gained a lot from some solid use of percussion. There were a couple of panning abuses, nothing major, but I wouldn't have expected to see that in an otherwise proffesional-sounding track.

Nice soft mood, the violin sounds OK, Good progression. Nothing out of the extrodinary, a fair performance, enjoyable, the technique is a'right, I like that one, very fair song. Hint: change a little! :)

Nice but not enough creativity here. This modul is not good enough for a veteran entry!!!
