Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen that exact same 'dirty vinyl' intro in Keith303's remix of 'Seven Days and One Week' - the track is even at the same speed. In any case, this tune is a totally different niche. Odd multisampled 'dirty' bass whose long notes don't quite fit, droning lead in track 6 in the intro. The chip lead from position 9 is also a bit inappropriate for this style and reasonable sample set. Chord changes rather linear and unsurprising - this style demands a few musical shocks to liven it up. The main (repeated) section need more variation, and the ending is just plain odd. Groovy and funky enough, it's still Jeroen Tel with a few elektronik bells and whistles, and fails to stand out from the crowd at this level.

Decent song but quite plain. The percussion was well done. The wah guitar samples are cool. After order 14 it just got droll and boring. What happened to the melody line here? Vocal samples are nice and not overbearing. Good song, needs some more inspiration to be great though.

This tune is very well tracked and enjoyable up until the first break, where some way too loud voice samples come in and spoil the song quite a lot, but then it goes on to the right track again. The technique in this song is very good indeed, and probably the best thing about this song. Maybe it lacks a bit variation, but the song is not very long so it doesnīt matter too much. Not that original, but not the most unoriginal tune either. The sample quality is good, especially the funky guitar samples. Not overly inspired melodies, but the transitions are good. Itīs a good song, but it with some more work it could be much better.

"...And cheap disco will return!" Although it brings back painful memories of the 70's, I loved this song's funky- sound and feel, and the vocals were used just right so that they didn't feel out of place. The samples were, of course, high-quality, especially the guitar. It's too bad that the song wasn't long enough, and didn't add a few drum or guitar solos. However, it didn't really affect the score, or the overall sound, of course.

To me, this song seemed like one big beat. The melody was just so quiet, the solos are so far apart, and all the other samples spend all their time and energy *contributing to the beat*. It has a nice intro, nice ending, and was pretty much pretty standard in-between. I would have had a lot more melody going on, and given the song several volume adjustments... (higher hat, synth, bg sounds, etc.)
