nothing really negative to say on this piece... the percussion was nice but the levels could have been a bit higher.. mainly the rimshot that comes in later.. everything else was pretty much great.. very fluid and soothing.. very well mixed as far as foreground guitar/leads and background pads/percussion. structurally great also.. nice flow, easy transitions with the "shaker"-type sample..biggest disappoint is the ending.. just a little too quick and sort of left out in the open... otherwise, really great work...

This is a very laid-back song which is a pleasure to listen to. The samples are very crisp and clear and the composition uncluttered. Perhaps the only flaw is in the overuse of stereo expecially in the guitar arpeggios. How often do you hear different notes of the one guitar coming from different speakers? Stereo effects are fine if used in moderation and the author should probably have tried to maintain a realistic separation of notes in the guitar, given the effort applied to make the song sound realistic in every other area. Also, sometimes the melody isn't as clear as it could be, particularly with the oboe/clarinet sound. Otherwise an excellent song which deserves to do well.

Relaxing song, realized with an original and interesting idea. Samples and tracking technique are not particularly enlighted, but its artistic evolution is enough to keep the listener interested. Absolutely inappropriate the final/closing vibrasnap sound, but luckyly it has been used only at last.

- lead was bothersome, tried to be too vocal-like - lacks emotional/aural impact and stimulus - found my thoughts drifting, couldn't hold my attention - music was good, but is the type of music that needs real vocals to go along with it... -

This is really beautiful music! I'm breathtaken! This is by far the best ballad/pop-song I've heard in a long time - this can compete with the real thing! Very good melodic progression - lots of variation. I like that there's no real drums in this piece - just a reverbed sample of a drumstick hit on the rim of a snare-drum. The bongos are neatly and relaxed played and add that little extra to the tune. I can't really comment more on this tune - have to listen to it again ;)

There is strong feeling shown in this song - the strings and guitar work very effectively together. The tunes are good and linked to the main theme with the transitions between sections very smooth. The percussion is good, being understated, with nice use of the rimshot. The mainly 16 bit samples are excellent quality and used appropriately with neat technique. The form of the song is fine, but really I wanted more - the song ends abruptly at a stage when I thought a change of feel could have worked effectively with the song leading on again to the original theme. However, this is a pleasant tune without being outstanding and is enjoyable to hear!

Originality: This is a classic pop-kind-of-tune, which there have been hundreds of. You've got ok variations, but no moodchanges. Form: You need to variate more, the leads didn't keep me very much interested. There isn't much progression here. The mood is ok, though. Technique: You use little effect, but I don't think that a tune like this should have much either. But I do think you could make in in less channels. Too little panning, too. Samples: Just about all samples are ripped, i presume. Not good. Overall Appeal: It is very relaxing to listen to. It's a classical tune. With average talent.

This is probably the _only_ song out of the compo that I actually fell asleep on. No, no, no...it's a good thing! The melodies are so soft and smooth that it's like a lullaby. The leads carry a lot of expression, the guitar adds nice accent without becoming overyly piercing (it has a rather sharp attack with an almost nasal ring to it), dynamics on the leads were the way more people should do them, and it would seem all instruments were flawlessly in tune. It was interesting that to achieve the fluid sound you had to rotate through so many channels and each instrument had a healthy dose of like 3-second reverb. The only complaint I have is the ending is too abrupt. For this kind of atmosphere, it would probably have been more appropriate to fade than to just stop. Great work.

Yeaah!!! A really good modul!!! It has a sweet peacy style!!! I think it would be great listening to it in a childrens game. Sweet idea is not very freaky but realized without any errors!!! Needs some more individual/experimental aspects to be a really great tune. Thats all folks I donīt know more to write about it.
