I adore your introduction! It is very stylish and clean, and so are your transitions. You have chosen good leads with good melody lines; both the 70's synth and the guitar you introduce at order 1F. When the chorus kicks in at order 13 I get the feeling that it lacks something.. You need more OOMPH! in there - a continous open hihat, more power cymbals (splashes, maybe) and perhaps some orchstabs or something. The thing I like the most about "Scandal" is its lazyness and the natural flow it possesses (along with the guitar). All in all this is a good veteran entry.

This song has a great set of samples. They all sound fine, half of them are 16 bit ones and they are about 20Kb each! You made the miracle. They are fine used too; you show a great technique, specially with drums and multisampled guitars. The problem is that I don't like the melodies, and the bassline was overused (it was great, but needed more variarions). You did a great job; this is the best song I've been assigned to vote on.

This piece of music funks! I liked this song very much. It was made to funk, and it did that well. Maybe you could have used more those cool guitars of yours, and less that technoish synthlead, but it was great like this too. Altough, the song was pretty much the same jamming through the whole song, but it didn't bother me at all, I was so much jamming with the bassmelodies. :) One thing that was bad in this song, is the ending. It's just an ordinary and classical fadeout. Something more unique and more surprising would have been much better. I don't have much else to se 'bout this song... samples were good and high qualited, your technique is good, the song was interesting... and I found myself tapping the rhytm, and I have a killing hurry to the deadline. So sorry about so short comments. (Btw. I think this song would've been much better and more jamming with a 4-2-4-2 -speed and a little higher BPM, or a 3-2-3-2 -speed and a lower BPM.)

Ahhh now we're back into the late 70's. It took a moment to realize what was about to happen but one the groove kicked in it was plainly obvious where we were going. Everyone loves a good groove. This style of music has, for the most part, been done once or twice before. However, there are a few nice changes to the norm of things that make for this song to be quite nice to listen to. As well as having a really nice lead guitar sample for once. Wow. The song flows through each of its different parts without even letting the listener realize what's going on. Definitely a plus on the side of a flowing perspective. Going along for the ride without even thinking that there might be turbulance. Good manipulation of the samples makes for what is definitely a good song to listen to. Offsets, portas, etc. Nothing is blown out of proportion. The samples for this song at first didn't do a whole lot for me until I listened a little more and realized how perfect they are in the string department. The percussion sounds were ok, but it was the jazz and lead guitar that totally got me going ga-ga. They have to be some of the cleanest I've heard in a long long time. Props for that.

Eurofunk again.. but it's still kind of unique. The main lead sample is a bit of a nuisance. Percussion is nice, but a little strong on every 16th note toward the beginning. Bass and guitars are really good. The guitar solo brings the tune up quite a bit.

Not bad of a tune the samples were misused in some places but othere than that the song was good.

Catchy melody. There is variation, but not enough development (the song didn't seem to go anywhere). Maybe that's just the genre of the song... dunno. Don't rely so heavily on a key change as "development". Great mix of instruments, though. In fact, it's quite impressive. The guitar is well tracked and convincingly real. The lead synth is a good sample, but perhaps a bit out of place for this guitar song. Still, the song passes a light, dreamy, relaxing feeling. Nicely done. The introduction was a bit odd and, perhaps a bit too empty. The ending was a little weak too. Songs that simply fade away kinda take the easy way out. Try something more interesting (though the intro was odd, it was still interesting). On the whole, I felt that the song was fittingly vet and successfully jazzy. The main thing I would improve is the ending... the ending should be memorable like the rest of the song - don't let it just slip.

Very clean spooky funk jazz is the best I can describe this. I'm not too sure about the ever panning leads, but it almost works. The whole tune is a little too high in pitch I think, it was definitely crying for a lower bass, and the drums were a tad too weak. The orchestration was very well done indeed, however, it sounds a bit thin. There needed to be something else to fatten this tune up. It was almost a mix of styles. Some funk, and some jazz in there, but the funk wasn't strong enough, and the jazz a little weak. Samples were well engineered so they sounded very clean even the 8 bit ones. (I'd like to know how you did these). The whole tune had a sort of AudioMonster feel to it. The guitar work was quite clever, although if not a little pushed in places where the same sample had to be re-used for lower pitch notes and the sample stood out like a sore thumb. Guitar work is always the hardest to track, and using extended samples for the guitar also puts a cramp on what you can do in the music with it. The melody is always rotating around the few notes sampled, and doesn't stray much from this to provide the variation this tune demanded. I didn't like the fade ending. It could have had something more interesting since the effort was put into the rest of the tune, and good start.
