I'll stand by my previous comments. But, I'll emphasize that I really like how you successfully incorperated so many tracking tricks into the song. It shows that you know just about everything aout tracking (giving you the credentials to criticize it ;) The music's so good that you really could have chosen any lyrics to it. You probably could even use lyrics from VOTS and it would work for the song. Anyway, I love the music.

I'll be frank: your tracking technique would never have gotten you to round 2 had you not used such subliminal lyrics. ;) No, seriously, your synthy backgrounds sound suprisingly 'lame' when compared to the smooth, slick tracking of E. Piano and drums. You try hits with too slow-attack samples, your mixing is somewhat off the course and... your slap bass is among the most horrible I have ever heard. I wonder if you know anything about slapping tapping and popping. Your obviously lacking tracking technique is almost saved by nice form (altough it has some flaws to which I will return later), fresh chords, good voicings and especially the dominant vocals which are among the best performances in this song - technically speaking. So, maybe you even wanted such a plasticy General MIDI sound. Maybe the bass could be panned at the center, BTW, and pan the drums somewhat wider. Good transition to the overdriven part. I like the part beginning at #31 best. Some marimba/EP (couldn't really tell which) patterns were a bit dissonant and incoherent. The pads are too analogue and flanged to my taste, something 'cooler' and more digital could have improved your sound. But as I said, even your nice form has its flaws. Once you run out of vocal samples and sample space, your artistry is limited by the vocals you have already made. That is why the form gets a chaotic cut&paste feeling in the end. Ending is also disappointing. Good try to keep the form in hand, though. Nicely fresh and different, but to be perfectly honest, I do hope you don't actually *win*, altough I really feel the need to vote for you.

This song has a very cool introduction which works really well. The use of vocals is effective, however the choice of lyrics is perhaps, well, a little unsubtle :) What is most impressive about this song is the transitions between the various stages of the song. It contains quite a number of melodic themes throughout the song and they manage to fit together without being at all awkward. On the downside though, some of the samples are not the clearest, although this is to be expected in a song which relies heavily on vocals given the one meg file size limit. Still, it would have been better had different bass and drum samples been used, and had more effort been given to making them sound less mechanical. All up though a very interesting tune.

This one is a real killer! Althought the idea of lyrics is almost identical to the Leinad's classic "vote4me", the song is in all so good and funny, that I just have to admire it. Quality of singing is well above average (if compared to other tracked tunes) and the use of distortion in voice is great. Use of samples is very good as is the overall sample quality, except for one or two individual cases. Melody is nice and even the arrangement of this song sounds professional. A great tune!

Huuh. Interesting mixture. Your song has been built of several subparts, some club-like piano tales, dramatic "i'm the best" pieces and electronic juke-box kindda clips. Technically well done, samples suitable. Maybe the slap bass is too sharp in the first part. The only real flaw are the vocals with stupid lyrics.

really awsome song. Very rarely do i hear such a good song. The samples were really good and the song was funny too ;). Yo, keep up the mad phat songs.. or something =)

You sacrificed your sample quality for the vocals. And one thing about those: Go see your urologist. Nice mastering, though. "Vote for me" songs have a tradition in compos, and the attitude behind them is funny at first look, but annoying ever after. Your message is safely wrapped in style-conscious po. Fantastic intro, if only you had dropped the vinyl crackle. Really good, musically. Especially the E-piano. You used the vocals well, but your beats could use more variation. Your drum samples take out alot of creativity and work like a break to your abilities. You don't have to hide behind these vocals, you are good enough, and the song would have gotten a higher rating without the vocals. Sorry for not going more in-depth.

:-) What do my ears hear!!!! Yeahh I vote for you, because you really are one of the best!!! I was surprised about the idea in this modul and the more i listen to it, the more i love it!!! The idea is without any doubt the best in the competition. The text is perfect and very funny. The modulation... everything in this modul is perfect. Letīs see what place it will get. I think it would be in the first three places. Everytime I show this tune to others they want it emmidiatly!!! Keep on composing!!!! Iīm very interested who did this tune, because I actually canīt imagine the musician who did it. Perhaps HUNZ/FM? I think I donīt know!!!

Very original concept and very well executed! The chorus is very catchy as is the whole song really. The transitions are great and you sampleset seems pretty orginal. Good singing in key and nice effects on the voice for the chorus. I really like the changeup in the middle (pattern 17). If I had to find a flaw its perhaps the slap bass was not suited to the soft chords and piano. But other than that, this song ro-oocks ;)

Quite good introduction. The sining doesnīt blend that great, and itīs very obvioius where each sample starts and ends. Some interesting ideas are presented though.
