 The Process

There are two rounds to MC6. Your role as judge will vary slightly in each:
Round 1: On the 30th of July, an email notification will be sent to you, listing a set of songs for your to review. The size of this list depends on the number of entries. Last year each judge was assigned 15 songs.

This number of songs is a minimum requirement. You are encouraged to review as many songs as you can.

You're required to do two things to each song: give it an overall rating (0-100) and write a song comment. Both are explained below. Reviews are submitted through email in a plain-text file. Because your submission is read by a utility, it is important that you follow the instructions precisely. It is also imperative that you submit your reviews on time. There are over one thousand "spectators." Keeping them waiting is unwise.

Round 2: Another email notification will be sent to you, with another list and more instructions. It's much like Round 1 in style, with ratings (0 to 100) and song comments. However, there are now five categories of ratings. These are exaplained in the section on Categories.

During this round you are encouraged to review every finalist. There will be 20 veteran, 15 intermediate, and 10 rookie songs. Remember, this is the final round. Review each song very carefully.
